Angela Baron, Chartered MCIPD
Angela Baron has been CIPD Adviser, Organisation and Resourcing for 14 years, and has been responsible for major projects including investigating organisational culture, performance management, age and employment and human capital. She is also responsible for CIPD policy in the employee resourcing area, including recruitment and selection, psychometric testing, redundancy, and HR strategy.
Jacquie Heany
Jacquie Heany is currently an HR Modernisation Business Partner in the Department for Work and Pensions, developing and delivering initiatives to support the implementation of radical changes to HR service delivery. Prior to this, Jacquie worked as a change management consultant within the private sector.
John Purcell, Chartered FCIPD
John Purcell is Professor of Human Resource Management at the University of Bath, Director of the Work and Employment Research Centre and a distinguished author and researcher. He is also a Deputy Chairman of the Central Arbitration Committee and Editor of the Human Resource Management Journal.
Rita McGee, Chartered FCIPD
Rita McGee has extensive experience as an HR generalist. She was formerly an HR Director for a major international brand and now works as a consultant, trainer and executive coach. Rita is actively involved in team development and facilitates teambuilding events for international organisations in the UK, Europe, Africa and America.
Neil Roden, Chartered MCIPD
Neil is CIPD Vice-President for Organisation and Resourcing, and Group Director, Human Resources at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Prior to joining RBS, Neil spent time in HR at a number of other major banks including Lloyds Bank and National Australia Group (Clydesdale, Northern, Yorkshire, National Irish and National Australia Banks).
Vanessa Robinson, Chartered MCIPD
Vanessa Robinson qualified as a Chartered Accountant and spent much of her career in consulting roles. After completing a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, she joined the CIPD in 2004 as Research Adviser, Strategy and Organisation. Vanessa is currently responsible for the CIPD project on Organising for Success, and is also looking at effective HR service delivery and technology in HR.
Neil Walford, Chartered MCIPD
Neil Walford has an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and qualifications in psychometric testing and career counselling. He has over 20 years’ experience in organisational and management development. Neil is currently the organisational development manager at The Institute of Cancer Research where he is developing its online training business.
Wesley McClendon, Chartered MCIPD
Wesley McClendon is a Principal in Finance and Performance Management and Melbourne Practice Leader, People and Organisation Effectiveness at Ernst & Young. He was previously a Partner at Mercer HR Consulting and has over 15 years’ experience leading evidence-based strategic human resource and human capital management, organisational change and performance improvement initiatives.
