By the end of Module 1, you will be able to:
- identify factors that impact on the effectiveness of the learning process
- recognise the contribution of a range of sources of information relevant to the collection of training and learning needs
- write objectives for learning sessions
- create a cohesive framework for the learning event
- consider other issues, such as copyright and licensing, diversity, legislations and codes of practice, which must be taken into account when designing and delivering learning events
- prepare and deliver a short sample of training
- give constructive feedback based on their own observations.
By the end of Module 2, you will be able to:
- identify the needs of the different stakeholders in the evaluation and assessment process
- benefit from familiarity with the range and applicability of a number of different evaluation and assessment tools
- identify the factors to take into account when analysing information on evaluation and assessment
- select appropriate participative methods for identified needs, taking time, cost, facilities, etc, into account
- prepare participative learning activities using a step-bystep approach
- run activities taking into account setting clear objectives, observation and feedback, briefing and review processes.
