By the end of Module 1, you will be able to:

  • identify factors that impact on the effectiveness of the learning process
  • recognise the contribution of a range of sources of information relevant to the collection of training and learning needs

  • benefit from familiarity with the range and applicability of a number of different evaluation and assessment tools
  • identify the factors to take into account when analysing information on evaluation and assessment
  • select appropriate participative methods for identified needs, taking time, cost, facilities, etc, into account
  • prepare participative learning activities using a step-bystep approach
  • run activities taking into account setting clear objectives, observation and feedback, briefing and review processes.
