The Discrimination and the Law course is HR practitioners or line managers responsible for employment law issues within their organisation. No prior knowledge of the law relating to discrimination is required.

Discrimination and the Law is a 1-day course which examines the impact of discrimination law on the employment relationship, and provides an update on recent developments in legislation and case law.

By the end of the Discrimination and the Law course, you will be able to:

• list and describe the key legal principles on which you will need to provide advice and guidance for your organisation
• relate and apply those principles to the employment relationship
• advise your organisation on recent legal developments.

Discrimination and the Law can be completed as a standalone course, or as part of the Advanced Certificate in Employment Law.
