Mrs Lesley Thompson
Lesley has worked in a number of wide ranging senior HR roles in blue chip Telecommunications companies, her last post in BT being at management Board level. Her experience has been at both the strategic and operational level, with responsibility for all aspects of HR and training. Lesley regularly undertakes both grievance and discipline interviews from investigation to appeal, often at Director level, where the company is unable to provide independent managers. She has worked with Video Arts as the principle advisor on their best selling video on behavioural recruitment interviewing and on grievance interviewing.

In 1989 Lesley established her own HR consultancy company. She has been a CIPD consultant/trainer since 1990 and an Employment Tribunal member since 1995. In addition, she undertakes “outsourced” roles handling a wide range of HR management issues.

Lesley trains in employment law, interviewing skills, management and employee relations. As a current practioner, her courses are bespoke, highly practical and related to real management issues.
