About the Course

Course overview:

Make a long-lasting contribution to the overall welfare of your workforce on this thought-provoking one-day course in managing people. Promoting Positive Manager Behaviour is based on research that identifies key positive managerial behaviours, to prevent and reduce stress levels in those being managed. The research was supported by the CIPD, the Health and Safety Executive and Investors in People.

How is the course structured?

  • why manager behaviour is important and what we mean by positive management behaviour
  • understanding your feedback/exploring your current management repertoire
  • exploring the relevant behaviours in more depth
  • summary, review and action planning.

Course benefits:

The interactive group work, case studies and action planning will help you identify the degree to which your current management approach incorporates these positive manager behaviours; and will enhance how you adapt your management approach if necessary.
