Thousands of professionals train every year with us, taking part in our short courses, qualifications and flexible learning programmes.

About the Course

Recommended for:

This practical and interactive course is designed for HR practitioners, line managers, or internal/external HR and organisational development consultants, involved in planning or supporting changes in an organisation.

Course overview:

If you’re faced with the challenge of reorganising, restructuring, or changing other aspects of your organisation, this course will provide you with straightforward frameworks and practical tools to design an effective infrastructure. You may need to integrate a new acquisition; or merge two departments, prepare for downsizing (or upsizing) or even meet changes in the operating context. Whatever your situation, the Organisation Design course provides a systems approach to help you succeed.

Course benefits:

You’ll gain the knowledge and skills to tackle organisation design projects, sequence and approach the design effectively and use various tools and techniques to make good organisation design decisions. Through action planning, case studies and group discussions, you’ll gain the ability to control the consequences and risks of design changes; and you’ll recognise and address design project blockers and challenges.

Additional information:

Organisation Design can be completed as a standalone course, or as part of the CIPD Advanced Award in Organisation Design and Development.
