The Strategic Leadership for HR programme was developed in partnership with the Centre for High Performance Development (CHPD). Since 1996, CHPD has funded and undertaken research in the field of leadership, and understands precisely the characteristics of outstanding leaders at all levels in an organisation. CHPD has assessed, coached, developed and inspired thousands of people to achieve a higher level of performance by better leading others.

Profiling tools

A number of diagnostic tools are used to establish your leadership style and capability prior to attending the first programme module:

• Leadership Orientations questionnaire - measures personality characteristics involved in determining your potential to fulfil a leadership role
• High Performance Motivations questionnaire - your thoughts about your areas of competence, motives and values in relation to career paths
• Situational Judgement questionnaire - your understanding of the behaviours used by high performing leaders.
• Networking with other HR leaders and programme underpinned by leading research in organisational development.

These online questionnaires are sent to you to be completed before you attend your first course. Coaching through your results is arranged with the tutor as part of your course follow-up.
