Advanced Level Development Programme in the Psychology of Management

The Advanced Level Development Programme in the Psychology of Management is an exciting new programme from CIPD Training that provides you with access to a range of inspiring and practical subject areas such as the psychology of organisation culture and climate, leadership and managing performance.

Who it is for

This advanced level development programme will benefit line managers, HR professionals, consultants, trainers, and coaching practitioners who wish to develop their awareness of how psychological principles, theories and models can be applied to achieve results in the workplace.

How it is structured

The programme has been designed to offer you amazing flexiblity and access to a range of subject areas and additional resources.

1) Introductory course (two-days)

You will start the programme with An Introduction to the Psychology of Management, where you'll gain an excellent overview of management psychology.

In addition to the introductory course, you will receive, at no extra cost, one-year's access to:

- Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
The VLE is dedicated online resource developed by CIPD Training where you can swap ideas and thoughts with fellow learners and access a range of additional resources and electronic textbooks.

- EBSCOS online library
Provides unparalleled access to premium content not available anywhere else online across a range of related subject areas.

2) Optional courses and coaching session

After completing the two-day, introductory course, you may then choose from a range of course pairs to suit your area of interest or developmental needs.

You will receive a free, one-hour coaching session with every pair of course options you attend within a 12 month period.

Option 1

  • The Psychology of Leadership (one-day); and
  • The Psychology of Influencing and Negotiation (one-day)
  • FREE one-hour coaching session

Option 2

  • The Psychology of Managing Performance (one-day); and
  • The Psychology of Coaching: individuals and teams at work (one-day)
  • FREE one-hour coaching session

Option 3

  • The Psychology of Change (one-day); and
  • The Psychology of Organisational Culture and Climate (one-day)
  • FREE one-hour coaching session

What the programme costs

CIPD members: £1,650 plus VAT
Non-members: £1,810 plus VAT

Programme fees include:

  • An Introduction to the Psychology of Management (two-day) course (10% off the usual course fees)
  • One pair of one-day courses from the options listed above (10% off the usual course fees)
  • One year's access to the VLE
  • One year's access to the EBSCOS online library
  • One hour of telephone coaching

PLUS for every additional pair of optional course pairs you attend within a 12 month period, you will receive 10% off the online training directory course fees PLUS an extra, free one-hour telephone coaching session.

When you can start the programme

We recommend that you start the programme with An Introduction to the Psychology of Management, however, you may also begin with one of the optional course pairs listed above.

How long does it take?

You have 12 months to complete the programme which comprises of An Introduction to the Psychology of Management and one course pair option.  Additional course pair options must be completed with the same 12 month period to receive a 10% off the online training directory fees and free telephone coaching.
