CIPD Level 5 HR Management Diploma

Hi everyone

I struggled massively with the CHR assignment and had some help off the lovely people on here when I despaired of continuing!

I would like to 'pay forward' and offer to help anyone who is struggling as I did.  I have completed and passed 4 out of the 8 assignments (DVP, CHR, HRF and RMT) and would be happy to help if I can.  This would also support my CPD and strengthen my own knowledge.

I am studying with DPG so if you need help, give me a shout.  I promise to try and help where I can.

  • Hi Lisa,
I have yet to take the "plunge" with my level 5 but keep debating it.. Is it as bad as I hear? ha! How long are you spending on it roughly?

  • In reply to Melissa Wilson:

    Hi Mel

I am absolutely loving it, although I did hate one unit. I started in April and have submitted and passed 4 assignments. I will soon submit my law assignment then it will only be 3 more to go.

I started in April and had a bit of a break for 7 weeks or so where I did nothing. I finally got my mojo back and thankfully I have whizzed through. I spend a few hours a day weekdays.

I'm sure you will love it when you take the plunge :)
  • I am doing CHR at the minute, got to admit it’s awful, cannot seem to get a flow, going round in circles.

    Hi Rachael

Let me know what question you are stuck on and I will try to help.

Hi Lisa... missed your post last month as I was on leave... but lovely gesture - thank you.
  • In reply to Lisa:

In 2.1 Forces that shape HR, I am not sure what context I include ulrichs model. The answer is very generic, am I just talking generally about this model or trying to link it to something? Appreciate any help Lisa, thanks.
  • In reply to Rachael Johnson:

I simply explained the model but you could underpin this by linking it to, say, a large organisation such as John Leeis Partnership.
    Hope this helps

    Thanks Lisa
