Interviewing for a start up

Hi all,

I wasn't too sure where to post this, but I'm interviewing for a start up (due to launch early next year) and wondered what would be the best way to prepare for such an interview?

    I think if it was me I would think about what the stakeholders want the business to be, in terms of culture? what is their vision for the business?

    Then you can think about the type of person who would work in a business like this, and the best ways to attract them... and tailor your interview questions to test the competencies of your 'perfect employee'

    I would also think about preparing some sort of presentation to deliver to interviewees, telling them about the vision for the business...

  • If you have not yet launched the business the candidates can't do any research by looking at the website so you must talk about the business and plans before launching into interview questions that are appropriate for the role.
