I am a level 7 HRM student just about to start my second year studies (studying part time alongside full time work).
I've been giving some thought to what i'd like to study for my final dissertation and I am very keen to delve a little deeper in to D&I initiatives and the impact that they can make within organisations. However, I know that for some organisations (and perhaps some academic institutions), the question of D&I can be deemed as sensitive in nature and so i worry that people will either not wish to participate in my research or the proposal may be thrown out all together.
On this basis, I wondered if anyone had attempted something similar and found that they struggled with their research? Or in contrast, were people quite forthcoming in sharing their views on the matter?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated whilst I'm in this early pre-planning stages.
