Recruiting and retaining diverse, young talent: a policy report by UpRising Leadership

Hi everyone,

I'm a programme manager at UpRising Leadership, a pioneering national charity championing the critical issues surrounding diversity, social mobility and equality. Over the past four years we have been delivering our employability programme, Fastlaners, to unemployed and under-employed 18-25 year olds across London, Birmingham and Manchester. This programme was funded by Comic Relief through the Queen's Young Leaders' fund.

Over the course of this time we have also run a number of youth consultation events in order to gain a better understanding of their experiences in trying to secure meaningful employment. The end result of this work is our policy report 'Recruiting and retaining diverse, young talent'.

This report is particularly relevant to those working in HR, Recruitment and Diversity & Inclusion teams.
