Relocation and Advice

Having just moved from the UK to Ireland I am seeking some advice and guidance with finding a HR Advisor role.  I have updated my CV and would appreciate some feedback and some advice for applying for these roles.

I have been working in the UK as a HR Advisor for 4 years plus and also acting as a HRBP for awhile within a housing organisation working closely with management on resolving ER issues.

I have completed my level 3 & 5 CIPD and am currently studying level 7 by distance learning.

I'm happy to arrange to meet for a chat and feedback

Many thanks

Employment law in Republic of Ireland is different to UK law so you may need to undergo some training. Or do you mean Northern Ireland? NI legislation is similar to UK with just a few differences so should be easier. You will need to show that you understand equality legislation and yearly monitoring returns. The Equality Commission in NI run free training courses on this

    Hi Tracey,
Thank you for your advice. I currently live in Co Kildare and would therefore interested in roles in Kildare,Naas,Newbridge or Dublin.
The Equality Commission website is very useful and will look into training courses.
    Thanks again

    HI Sharon
Good luck, ROI legislation is quite different to UK but a bit of reading up and you should be up to speed. Have you checked out the Ireland CIPD pages, they should help. Monitoring returns are not required in ROI so you wont need to know about that unless the company you get work with has an office in NI
