Retirement age in contracts (Ireland)

I am hoping to introduce a Retirement Policy that will support the rationale of having a retirement age in the contract of employment.  I appreciate that there is no mandatory retirement age in ireland, however we still want to be in a position that we continue to insert a retirement age and now want to justify this decision in a policy.

Would anyone have a template I could use to get me started.  Many thanks

    In the Uk of course it is incredibly difficult to justify this except in certain limited circumstances (usually fire services and the like are quoted) and the question would be what (for most organisations) would be the benefit of a mandatory retirement age ...

    Just for my own education I would be keen to understand what justification the law requires in Ireland?
