• Level 7

    Hi all,

I've previously completed my level 3 and then level 5 CIPD in HR.. I'm currently working as a HR Manager and am not sure what to do next.

I enjoy continuous self development and am contemplating doing a level 7 diploma next. I wanted…

  • RE: Membership is it worth keeping

    HI,

I remember posting on the forum about 4 years ago now, asking how to go about getting into HR as I also struggled.. I was a single parent studying level 3 with no experience and, with only wanting part time work, the odds seemed stacked well against…
  • RE: Voluntary work in HR

Surely you just apply in the normal way as anyone else would?
  • RE: Voluntary work in HR

I did this when I studied my level 3.. My first HR role was volunteering in a local housing association alongside the HR Advisor. I would advise you just apply to a few local offices and see if anyone responds. I always think it looks fab on my CV as…

    Hi all,
I just wanted to post an update on this. In January 2018 I was promoted within the company where I was to HR Officer and given more hours (still part time). and as of 3 months ago I moved on to a HR Advisor role (also part time) at a charity…
  • RE: Advice on what to do next?

Hi Joni, Its not too bad actually. I have no experience past HR Admin and a couple of the girls have never worked in HR at all. All the work needed for the assignments is in the classroom based sessions so as long as you take good notes and try to get…
  • RE: Advice on what to do next?

Hi. This is actually the kind of role I would love to take on next. A standalone position in a small company. I don't like the idea of joining a larger HR team, I think I want more of a challenge than that. This is a great idea though, I actually live…
