Travel and directions
There's very limited parking for visitors at our premises (disabled bays only) so it's best to use public transport.
National rail mainline
A regular train service runs between London Waterloo and Wimbledon station. Journey time is about 20 minutes.
London Transport Underground
Wimbledon is at the end of the District Line (Wimbledon Branch).
Available from Wimbledon station forecourt. Ask for CIPD, 151 The Broadway.
Bus route numbers 57, 93, 219 and 131 all run along The Broadway past the front of our office with the 200, 164, 163 and 493 all passing within approximately 500 metres of the site.
Directions from Wimbledon Station
The CIPD head office is a 10-15 minute walk from Wimbledon Station. Turn left on leaving Wimbledon Station. Walk for approximately 0.75 mile until you see 151 The Broadway situated on your right.
The CIPD Business and Resource Centre (Openspace), which has a subsidised Costa coffee shop, is located on the ground floor. There is free wireless network access at the CIPD head office. Please contact the Reception desk on arrival.
Business Resource Centre (Openspace)
The area previously occupied by the Library was redesigned as a Business and Resource Centre in 2014 and is known as Openspace. It offers:
- two bookable meeting rooms (free to members)
- a reading area
- an innovation zone for group learning
- a selection of the latest journals and salary surveys.
A subsidised Costa coffee shop offers a selection of premium food and drinks Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 16.00. The coffee shop and the Business and Resource Centre are available for members to walk in and use between the hours of 08:30 to 17:30. We also offer a basic hospitality service at a competitive rate tailored to meet your needs. Book lending and postal photocopying services ceased on 14 March 2014. An HR and L&D information enquiry service operates Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
