The CIPD's EmbRACE group
Encouraging conversations about race, to promote understanding and to collaborate with the wider organisation to create a healthy and inclusive working environment
Providing opportunities to learn, work flexibly, and support your health and wellbeing
To deliver our mission of better work and working lives, we rely on the exceptional talent and skills of our people. We offer a stimulating and energising culture, where people can be their best and deliver great outcomes for our members and customers.
We want our people to feel supported and inspired at the CIPD, whatever their role.
We offer a generous annual 28 days’ holiday (on top of bank holidays) and the ability to work flexibly. Our award-winning pension scheme is available to all, as is access to our Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing activities and financial wellbeing support.
Everyone benefits from an annual personal development allowance as well as supported, paid time for volunteering. And with Bitesize learning sessions offering the opportunity to discuss the latest thinking about what’s going on in the business and in the wider world of work, alongside wellbeing activities such as yoga, choir and book club, we make sure there is ample opportunity to keep both your brain and body healthy.
Our values are at the heart of how we work. Recognising and rewarding our people who live and breathe our values happens through our recognition platform, Moments We Value.
Listening to our people is important to us. Through our regular Voice surveys, we hear what’s great about working at the CIPD and where improvements can be made, taking action based on real-time feedback.
To achieve our ambitions, we need a diverse workforce who can offer a range of skills and perspectives. We have a number of thriving colleague networks including LGBT+, ethnic minority representation, wellbeing, parents, faith, and disability. These groups all sit within our Inclusion & Diversity Steering Group, which meets regularly to share ideas, support one another and give the business their steer on key initiatives.

The LGBT+ and Friends group came together in August 2016 to improve diversity and inclusion of LGBT identities at the CIPD
We have four offices around the world but our headquarters are in Wimbledon, South West London. Wimbledon is a bustling town, with direct links into Central London by both train and tube. Our international offices in Dubai, Singapore and Dublin ensure our reach is truly international.
