Sponsored by the CIPD, IOSH and the Affinity Health at Work Research Consortium, Affinity Health at Work has conducted research to review all the evidence available about what affects the success of developing managers who support employee engagement, health and well-being.

The research looked at both academic and practitioner literature and gathered data from experts, practitioners and organisations in order to provide a unifying framework bringing all the evidence together. This research has resulted in the creation of a set of checklists that highlight the range of factors that can enhance or reduce effectiveness of such programmes, with the aim to aid organisations in implementing these programmes successfully.
