As employers plan and manage a wider return to the workplace, the CIPD continues to recommend that their guiding principle should be to safeguard the health and wellbeing of their people.
The CIPD recommends that employers consider three key questions as they continue to bring their people back to the workplace:
Do people feel sufficiently safe?
Will it enhance performance?
Are you listening to your people?
As well as following the latest government guidance and legal obligations regarding health and safety, employers can bring people back to the workplace, bearing in mind that the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of the workforce must remain the key principle. As part of its #Flexfrom1st campaign the CIPD is calling on employers to build upon the period of remote working and to adapt and learn to make hybrid working a success.
