  • typically work in either a medium to large organisation as part of the HR function or is a HR Manager working in a small organisation
  • may have responsibility for managing a small team in a larger organisation
  • deliver front line support to managers and employees
  • handle day to day queries and provide HR advice, giving guidance that is compliant
  • work on a range of HR processes from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement
  • use HR systems to keep records
  • provide relevant HR information to the business, working with the business on HR changes
  • take ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues using company policy and current law
