A warm welcome to the CIPD Mid Scotland Branch. The primary purpose of our Branch is to promote and champion the objectives of the CIPD and to act as a local channel to ensure that CIPD members have opportunities to network with colleagues, continue with their professional development and remain up to date with evolving HR topics.
We are an active branch with approximately 1,800 members spread across a wide geographical area of Fife, Forth Valley and Tayside. We believe you can benefit most from your membership by being actively involved with the Branch activities. This may be through attending events, contributing to our newsletters, participating in our on line discussions or by joining our Branch Committee or one of the associated groups if you would like to have a direct involvement in running the Branch. Whatever level of involvement you are able to have, we have no doubt you will find it both valuable and enjoyable.
As ever, the Branch Committee is working hard to continue to provide a diverse and comprehensive schedule of events for Members, enabling us all to share the benefit and expertise of a range of profiled speakers and leaders in our profession. The Branch provides an active programme of support to members including events, membership upgrading workshops, support and advice. It contributes to the work of CIPD Scotland, for instance planning of the Scottish CIPD Conference, as well as supporting the wider activities of the CIPD in Wimbledon. Our events programme is available via the Local branch events section below. This section is updated on a regular basis so please do check and keep up to date with changes and additions.
We are keen to ensure that our Branch programme remains up to date and relevant to you. Please do keep in touch with us – our details can be found by clicking on ‘Contact Us’ – and do give us your comments about any our events and suggestions for future events.
