The Midlands Area Partnership (MAP) is a regional group of ten branches in the Midlands area which combine to cover 20,000 CIPD members. The group aims to promote the CIPD's purpose throughout the Midlands region by sharing best practice, improving links between the individual branches and providing networking opportunities for all our members. The Midlands Area Partnership is led by a group made up of the Branch Chairs from the ten branches, which meets three times a year. They are supported by the Midlands Regional Branch Co-ordinator Eleanor Lloyd Jones who can be contacted by email.
The ten branches are: Birmingham, Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire, Hereford & Worcester, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, North Staffordshire & South Cheshire and Shropshire.

Enabling Well-being, Furthering Inclusion and Creating Flexibility - #CIPDMAP19
This year the Midlands Annual Event has moved to the Forest of Arden Hotel just outside Birmingham and will focus on the three key themes of Well-being, Inclusion and Flexibility. An expert-led programme will provide thought-provoking and practical insights on how to create healthier, more inclusive and flexible organisations.
The day will include sessions from thought leaders, regional case studies and HR practitioner sessions, as well as the lunchtime HR Street Market with opportunities to catch up and network with your fellow HR and L&D professionals from across the Midlands.
