Welcome to our branch area

The North East of England Branch is a thriving community of members covering the NE, SR and DH postcode areas.

We're proud of the inclusive community we have and are continually looking for ways to evolve our regional offer to best meet the needs of members. The branch runs a member to member mentoring programme and in recent years we have expanded our annual awards ceremony so that it recognises the breadth of professional practice, introduced an annual regional conference, and introduced an L&D special interest group (L&D Communicate).

We're here for our members and share information on our events and activities via our social media channels. We're always open to exploring opportunities so if you have any ideas, suggestions or are keen to get involved let us know by email.

The CIPD North East of England Branch are an active branch, keen to develop the HR&D profession within the region, through events such as the day conference. Branches arrange activities and events which provide opportunities, at a local level, for regional members to network with one another and to update their knowledge and skills.

The branch is run by a committee of volunteers - HR&D professionals that commit their time on a regular basis. All members have specific roles and responsibilities and there are many larger projects, such as our annual awards, that we all get involved with.
