We are a group from all sectors of the industry with varied roles such as training and development, generalists, consultants and health & safety.

We are committed to Continuous Professional Development and aim to provide opportunities for all of us to develop and progress in our chosen careers. We hope you enjoy our communications and events and find the support and development through the Branch helpful and positive.

We are always looking for volunteers to join our committee and help us to run the branch and organise events for our members. If you are interested in becoming more involved in the branch please contact the branch chair Paul Beesley.

The branch runs a Learning and OD (LOD) Group for local practitioners, the group meets quarterly and provides a network for members to discuss current L&OD issues and share their experiences.

CIPD Northamptonshire also runs a Coaching Supervision Group which meets quarterly. This group is for practicing coaches both internal and external, it provides a community of coaching practice for coaches based on group and peer supervision models.

The branch runs a local mentoring scheme for CIPD members and is looking for new mentors and mentees to take part.

Whether you would like to increase your skills by mentoring a HR student or professional, or whether you wish to benefit from the skills and expertise of being mentored by peer or senior HR professional, we can provide the forum, support and guidance for this to happen. CIPD Midlands and the Midlands Area Partnership

CIPD Midlands aims to promote the CIPD purpose throughout the Midlands region by sharing best practice, improving links between the individual branches and providing networking opportunities for all our members. We are also a part of the Midlands Area Partnership (MAP), a regional group of ten branches in the Midlands area which combine to cover 20,000 CIPD members.
