This report looks specifically at the forward-looking labour market indicators for the north of England, highlighting employers’ recruitment, redundancy, pay and Brexit preparation intentions in the region, compared with the rest of the UK.
The ten northern England branches cover between them an area from the Scottish border down to Cheshire in the West and South Yorkshire in the East.
Our purpose is to share best practice, support branch chairs and committees in meeting their objectives and provide a voice and wider debate on the CIPD national agenda and its implementation.
The NAP committee includes representatives from each branch (usually the Chair). A key aim of the partnership is to facilitate high quality networking and CPD opportunities across the north and we achieve this through our regular meetings, an annual development day for all committee members and our annual conference.
