Welcome to CIPD Wales

Our ambition is to establish the voice of CIPD in Wales and for Wales, positioning us as experts in policy and practice issues through influencing government, collaborating with a vast range of stakeholders, and implementing a sustainable regional structure which ensures that the experience of our 4500+ members remains relevant and focused irrespective of level of membership, experience, sector or size of the organisation they work with.

Influence

Our CIPD Wales Public Policy Forum brings together members working in the public, private, and third sector, providing a unique opportunity to connect and contribute to the policy agenda in Wales, supporting our calls to government in the areas of skills, young people, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, which we believe will champion better work and working lives in Wales.

Collaboration

With a stronger presence in Wales, we are able to develop partnerships with employers in order to strengthen HR capability within organisations encouraging workplace development, investment in skills, and building high-performance workplaces, which we believe are key to boosting the productivity of the Welsh economy.

Member engagement

In addition to events delivered by our volunteer-led branches, we provide many other opportunities for members to get involved – engaging with us to bring national campaigns and initiatives to Wales, sharing experience and expertise through mentoring, participating in sector-specific forums, or contributing to strategic discussions and debates.
