Chartered membership for experienced HR practitioners

One of the ways we verify professionalism is by assessing experienced HR and L&D practitioners against our professional standards. We call this Experience Assessment, and it’s our no-study route to professional recognition.

We assess people against our standards at 3 levels, and we can award professional membership for different levels of knowledge and experience:

  • Associate membership – Assoc CIPD
  • Chartered membership – Chartered MCIPD
  • Chartered Fellow membership – Chartered FCIPD.

The process involves a telephone discussion about eligibility, three online assessments, and a half day discussion with an assessor. It’s a rigorous and rewarding process that builds self-awareness, confidence and credibility.

Chartered membership for your team
