Who is this apprenticeship for?

HR professionals in this role are typically:

  • working in a medium-to-large organisation delivering front-line support to managers and employees, or
  • an HR Manager in a small organisation.

Responsibilities

HR professionals in this role are often required to make decisions and recommendations on what the business should do in a specific situation. They influence managers to change their thinking and bring good practices into the organisation. They’re also likely to lead the people-related parts of business or HR projects. Whatever their role, they link their work to the context and priorities of the business.

In a larger organisation they may be one of a team supporting the business, and may also have responsibility for managing people.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements for this apprenticeship will be decided by the employer. Apprentices without level 2 Maths and English will need to achieve this prior to taking the end-point assessment.

Duration

The length of this apprenticeship should typically be 2-3 years, but could be closer to 18 months if the apprentice has previously completed the Level 3 apprenticeship.
