At the CIPD we’re committed to tackling racism and racial discrimination in the workplace. Our anti-racism hub provides access to a range of guidance and resources, but there is more we can do.  We’re initiating a listening exercise to hear from our members on how we can best support black and ethnic minority people professionals.

We want to hear from you. There are a range of ways to get involved:

  • Complete our survey to anonymously share your views, opinions and experiences.

  • Join fellow people professionals in our virtual roundtable discussions, from 7-11 September. Dates may be extended dependent on interest. If you’d like to be involved, email to express your interest.

  • Engage with our policy forum and explore feedback from our recent hackathon.

  • Provide feedback on our race content, such as factsheets and guides, by getting in touch with the team.

We’re listening – we want to hear your open and honest views. We will use this feedback to drive positive change and make important changes in the way we support our worldwide community of members, and the wider profession.

‘We’ve committed publicly to calling for policy reform, providing support for organisations to act and supporting black and minority ethic people to join our profession and progress within it. And as an employer, we’ve got an action plan in place to close our ethnicity pay gap and achieve greater presentation of black and minority ethnic colleagues in senior roles. But we will only create lasting change if we work together to create fair and inclusive societies, so we want to hear from you.’
