The Mayor’s Good Work Standard
Read the CIPD's submission to the Mayor of London
In September, London Mayor Sadiq Khan called on businesses and other organisations to advise him on exactly what they think should be included in the Good Work Standard, which was designed to promote fair pay; excellent working conditions; and diversity in the workplace.
The CIPD’s response focused on various aspects of work including flexible working; inclusion; job quality; and emphasised how people management practises are essential to the structure of what makes a good job.
