Delivered in partnership with People Management magazine, the CIPD People Management Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in people management and learning and development.

A winner will be chosen from each of the 19 categories, as well as an overall winner, by an expert panel of judges and announced the awards dinner on Tuesday 26 September 2017 at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

Lizzie Crowley, Skills Adviser at the CIPD and one of the award judges, commented:

We’ve been spoilt for choice this year in terms of innovation, variety and creativity in the entries for the CIPD People Management Awards. As we are increasingly seeing demand for effective people management and learning and development approaches that deliver consistent results in a variety of contexts, it’s great to see so many organisations stepping up to the challenge, demonstrating impressive agility in both planning and execution.

Our new category for this year - best international HR initiative - recognises the need for HR to be agile in an increasingly global marketplace, and we look forward to celebrating those who are doing this to such a high standard. As the world of work continues to evolve, it will be these organisations leading the way in innovation and good practice, and they should all be congratulated on their achievements.
